Description:
The animated film "Ghost in the Shell" was released in 1995, and the backgrounds were produced with physical paint. I draw this artwork using only 4B pencil.
Ghost in the Shell was based on a manga by Masamune Shirow. The film was produced by the company Production I.G., and the crew of about 200 people was directed by Mamoru Oshii. The backgrounds were the work of Hiromasa Ogura and his team.

Perspective:
I try practice at least four - five times to find the vanishing point. It just simply a practice, so I used A4 paper to sketch it out.
Draft Sketch:
Sketch to B3 : 515 X 364 mm paper with 4B pencil.
Sketch Finished:
Only 4B pencils were completed. The pencil was thick, so it was hard when I drew a Chinese language on neon sign.
Mastering:
Photoshop mastering with tone calibration and add some rainny effects.
